About Raynard:

 Mr. Raynard E. Burrell serves as our Executive Director and is responsible for coordinating our organizing campaigns, leadership development, member representation, and management of the Executive Staff. He manages our day-to-day affairs and serves as the Chief Administrative and Executive Officer.

Prior to his appointment as Executive Director, Raynard served as FPSE’s Director of Benefits and Special Programs.

Raynard has a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management. He represents FPSE in labor-management meetings and appears before governmental agencies on behalf of FPSE and its members. Raynard is also an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

About Tanya:

Ms. Tanya Miller serves as General Counsel to the Georgia Federation of Public Service Employees. As our Lead Counselor, she advises our staff and leadership on labor and other applicable laws. She provides confidential legal advice to FPSE leadership and conducts legal trainings for our members and staff. She provides strategic advice on our organizing and legislative initiatives. When assigned, she may represent members in court and administrative proceedings.

Tanya has both private and public sector legal experience. She has worked at prominent national law firms, as a Federal Prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney General’s Office and as Chief Senior District Attorney for the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.

Tanya serves as an elected State Legislator in the Georgia General Assembly.

About Adria:

Ms. Adria Johnson has extensive experience in benefits management, specializing in supporting public employees. With over 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, she is dedicated to ensuring that FPSE members and their families have access to comprehensive benefits packages that protect their well-being and enhance their quality of life.

Adria holds a life and health insurance license, further strengthening her expertise in providing tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of our members. Adria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clayton State University.

In her role as Director of Benefits and Special Programs, Adria oversees our scholarship, home loan, insurance benefits, and special programs. She helps to negotiate and manage our insurance, retirement, home buyers, scholarships, and other special programs.

Benefits and Special Programs

FPSE Provided $20,000 and $50,000 Life Insurance for Member

  • Each member automatically receives a $20,000 life insurance benefit as part of their membership dues.  Our first responders, including Police Officers, Fire Fighters and Corrections Officers receive $50,000. - FPSE Provided Disability Benefit for Members

  • Each member automatically receives a Long-Term Disability benefit as part of their membership dues.  If a member is hurt on or off the job and is unable to work, they will receive $500 a month for up to (5) five years to assist them with their expenses. Each year the FPSE Family Scholarship Programs provides financial support to our members their children and grandchildren.  Members attending an accredited college or university are eligible for scholarship assistance.  Children and grandchildren of members who are graduating high school seniors may apply as well.  This scholarship may be used for any field of study. The application period is January 1st – March 15th.

Eligibility:

  • At time of application be a member in good standing for at least one-year
  • Be enrolled in a community college or university taking course work in any field of study
  • For children and grandchildren be a graduating high school senior
  • Return completed application and required documentation by March 15th.
