"Making the Dream Come True" Home Loan Program
As a member in good standing with the Georgia Federation of Public Service Employees (FPSE) you are eligible for participation in our program. The program highlights include:
- No lender fees
- No points
- No application fees
- No origination fees
- Discounted/competitive interest rate
- $3,000 toward closing costs
- No appraisal fees (refunded at close of escrow up to $600)
- Purchase of home warranty plan (up to $600)
- $250 New home grant
Each year the FPSE Family Scholarship Program provides financial support to our members, their children and grandchildren. Members attending an accredited college or university are eligible for scholarship assistance. Children and grandchildren of members who are graduating high school seniors may apply as well. This scholarship may be used for any field of study. The application period is April 1st – April 15th.
Eligibility:
- At time of application, be a member in good standing for at least one-year
- Be enrolled in a community college or university taking course work in any field of study
- Members’ children and grandchildren must be graduating high school seniors with proof of college acceptance at time of award

Family Scholarship Program
Hardship Grant
Our members facing an unforeseen emergency or catastrophe may apply for a one-time hardship member assistance grant. Our hardship grants are intended to be a one-time stop gap measure to assist our members in facing an unexpected crisis. These are small grants ranging from $100 – $500. Our grants are approved based on a demonstrated need and fund availability. The application/approval process is 48 hours or less. To be eligible for a hardship grant, you must be a member in good standing for at least 1 year and have a documented bona fide unforeseen emergency. To apply Click here
The dedication and hard work of our members too often go unnoticed and unappreciated. However, we believe the services provided by our should not go unrecognized or unrewarded. Each year in the month of November, we honor and recognize a member who demonstrated extraordinary commitment to public service. The nomination period is open from May 1st – October 15th.
